Description
Surface Retarder is a concrete surface retarder that is recommended for use on concrete with strengths up to 20 MPA. When applied to the surface of freshly poured concrete it delays the normal hydration of cement for a depth of 3-6mm whilst the underlaying concrete hardens normally. RB7.16 is widely used throughout New Zealand by concrete placers to achieve a consistent exposed aggregate finish on driveways and paths.
